About Us
Experts Dedicated To Care
Changing Seasons Elder Care managerial staff do regular house visits to each and every client.
Our goal is for the client to keep their routine and we are present in the home to accommodate them as individuals, encouraging as much independence as possible, which enhances quality of life.
Changing Seasons Elder Care goal is to provide comprehensive, safe, quality services to elderly individuals in order to maintain, improve and maximize independence and quality of life while remaining at home.
When individuals are able to live out their years at home and continue to be as independent as possible, they enjoy a more positive out look, a more hopeful attitude and better emotional and physical health in general.
Life is a continual cycle of seasons which of course change with growing old. Growing old doesn't need to be worrisome. It should be a season of peace, enjoyment, and reminiscence in respect of choices that maintain dignity and control of ones surroundings. Changing Seasons Elder Care is truly dedicated to those growing old. Caring for each client as an individual with different needs and lifestyles, just as we do our own loved ones.
Eileen Duncan, R.N., holds a master's degree in nursing with a specialty in eldercare. Ms. Duncan has been a nurse in the Syracuse community for over 25 years, working primarily with elders.
Who Do We Hire?
Changing Seasons Elder Care prides itself on hiring individuals according to the law for homemaking services. Companion candidates are interviewed extensively, finger printed and references checked, as well as criminal background checks. Most individuals drawn to companion work tend to be more mature in age, with an enormous caring and giving way about them. All our companions go through a training program before being given any assignment.
